DayZ heatmap
DayZ heatmap
Legion heatmaps turn recorded server activity into a visual view of where combat and damage are actually happening. They are useful for PvP analysis, event planning, hotspot discovery and understanding how players move through a server.
A heatmap answers where activity concentrates
Instead of scanning coordinates line by line, a heatmap aggregates recorded activity into visible hotspots. That can reveal common PvP routes, military-area pressure, event hotspots and areas that are unexpectedly quiet.
Damage context and kill context are different
A kill map answers where deaths happened. Damage activity can show fighting that did not end in a kill. Keeping those concepts separate gives admins a better picture of how a server is actually being used.
Maps connect back to Discord evidence
Legion can pair location-based information with the event and player systems that produced it, so the map is not a disconnected decorative image.
Practical checklist
- Choose whether the question is kills, damage or broader activity.
- Use enough data to avoid treating one short event as a long-term hotspot.
- Compare hotspots with actual killfeed/location records before changing server rules.
- Use the map as an analysis layer, not as a replacement for the underlying events.
DOMAIN ROLE
Why killfeed.info covers this search
killfeed.info is already the interactive DayZ map and Base Radar tool, so these pages expand directly from functionality the site already demonstrates.
DayZ heatmap FAQ
What does a DayZ heatmap show?
It aggregates recorded locations into hotspots so patterns are easier to see than a list of coordinates.
Is a damage heatmap the same as a kill heatmap?
No. Damage can show combat that did not end in a death, while kill locations show final outcomes.
Which maps can Legion tooling work with?
Legion’s map tooling covers Chernarus, Livonia and Sakhal.
Is the heatmap separate from the killfeed?
It is a different view built from the same broader body of tracked server activity.
